You may have heard us referring to "market" when speaking of new arrivals or arrivals to come...and you may be wondering, "What the heck is market?"
Markets are where boutique owners (big and small) go to see/order/buy the pieces for the upcoming seasons. Markets are located in major cities such as Las Vegas, Dallas, Atlanta, New York, Nashville and Chicago. Boutique owners and buyers (of bigger companies) from all over travel to these 3 day events to ensure they are bringing you the best goods. We order/buy from our tried and true vendors we've come to know and love as well as getting see new vendors. We see the products in person, feel the quality and test the sizing. We also get the opportunity to attend workshops and sit in on seminars from some of the most successful entrepreneurs (Kristin Cavallari spoke at MAGIC, Las Vegas in 2022 and to say we were bummed we didn't attend that particular market would be an understatement). Markets are huge, busy, amazing and exhausting (haha).
In the past 3 years we've tried to attend one out of state market per year and we make an effort to attend all the markets held in Chicago. Aside from Chicago we've been to Las Vegas twice and Atlanta. We are looking forward to hitting up Nashville or Dallas next!
